In Bishkek, a "security officer" from the Pervomaisky District caught for drunk driving for the second time
On February 2, press service inspector of the DPSM, Nadirbek Jusupov, reported that the law is the same for everyone, commenting on the case of a driver who was caught by patrol officers for driving while intoxicated again.
The first incident occurred on November 21, 2025. Around three o'clock in the morning, DPSM officers stopped a Toyota Avalon, driven by B.U.T. The driver claimed that he worked in the law enforcement agencies of the Pervomaisky district. However, the police's suspicions of his intoxication were confirmed by the results of a narcological examination.
Despite attempts to evade punishment, a protocol was drawn up against the driver, and the case materials were submitted to the Oktyabrsky District Court. On December 9, the court ruled him not guilty of driving under the influence.
Nevertheless, on January 31 of this year, this citizen was stopped again for a similar offense. A narcological examination showed that he was once again under the influence of alcohol. As a result, a protocol was drawn up against him again under Article 193 ("Driving a vehicle by a driver who is in a state of intoxication, transferring control of a vehicle to a person who is in a state of intoxication or does not have the right to drive a vehicle") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
“We want to emphasize the importance of this incident and intend to take legal measures so that this driver does not go unpunished. Every violator must bear responsibility according to the law, regardless of their position or status,” added patrol officer Jusupbekov.
