In Manas, the activities of an unorthodox religious movement have been suppressed
According to the agency, the missionary activity known as daavat was organized by followers of a foreign religious group called "Furkan," which opposes secular policies and actively promotes Sharia law.
During operational activities, 20 individuals were detained, including 6 citizens of other countries. It has been established that "Furkan" chose the Jalal-Abad region to create an experimental base with the aim of organizing religious events and forming cells in southern Kyrgyzstan.
As a result of the measures taken, the establishment of one of the possible cells of undesirable religious associations on the territory of the republic was prevented.
Administrative fines were imposed on the organizers and participants of the illegal missionary activities, and measures are being taken to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Associations" and other regulatory acts.
