It became known that on January 7, 2026, a citizen named B.A. filed an official complaint with the Sverdlovsk District Internal Affairs Department, requesting measures to be taken against an unknown thief.
According to the complainant, on the same day, around 16:30, during prayer at the mosque located in the territory of the "Dordoy" market, an unknown individual secretly stole a bag containing money, a mobile phone, and personal belongings.
In this regard, the investigative service of the district department initiated a criminal case under Article 205 ("Theft") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational activities, employees of the Bishkek Main Internal Affairs Department managed to detain a citizen A.S., born in 2008, who had previously had legal issues. According to preliminary data, he was involved in thefts from mosques.

During the investigation, the detainee confessed that he sold the stolen mobile phone at the Osh market for 3000 soms and spent the proceeds on his needs.
The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement agencies are checking his possible involvement in other similar crimes in Bishkek.
