Previously, a citizen A.I. reported to the police that on December 19, 2025, he was beaten by unknown individuals and threatened with an object resembling a firearm. The investigation revealed that the incident was related to the detention of A.I. on December 6, when he voluntarily handed over tablets of potent substances. A criminal case was initiated regarding this fact under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
A.I. stated during the interrogation that he purchased the substances from A.M., a woman born in 1995. She was detained on December 29 and placed in a temporary detention facility.
After her detention, according to the investigation, her husband N.A. attempted to exert pressure on the witness by threatening him with an object resembling a firearm and demanding that he change his testimony.
A criminal case has been initiated against N.A. under Articles 280 (hooliganism) and 355 (threats or violence in connection with pre-trial proceedings) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. He is currently in a temporary detention facility in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
The investigation is ongoing.
