In St. Petersburg, the Lenin District Court issued a ruling in the case of blogger Ekaterina Bivol, who is the ex-wife of Russian and Kyrgyz boxer Dmitry Bivol. The court found her guilty of an administrative offense for posting offensive comments about Kyrgyz and Kazakh people, sentencing her to 60 hours of community service, as reported by the unified press service of the city’s courts.

The proceedings began based on Article 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, which pertains to inciting hatred or animosity, as well as humiliating human dignity. The impetus for this was a video published on October 22, 2025, on one of the Telegram channels, where Bivol used profanity while expressing negative opinions about national groups, including Kyrgyz and Kazakhs.

Additionally, Ekaterina Bivol has faced criminal cases in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan for similar incidents, and an international search warrant has been issued for her in both countries.

Previously, a court in St. Petersburg also recognized Bivol's public statements about her ex-husband as false and defamatory, ordering her to retract these statements.
