A conflict occurred between a teacher and a 42-year-old student at Osh Medical College
A video appeared on social media showing the teacher returning late from lunch, an hour and a half late, just before the exam was set to begin.
During the exam, a third-year student expressed her dissatisfaction with the delay, noting that she had arrived at the appointed time and had her own commitments. When she voiced her concern, the teacher responded that those who have commitments should not be studying, which led to a conflict between them.
According to the press service of the Osh City Internal Affairs Department, the incident has been recorded, and an investigation is currently underway.
The director of the Osh Medical College, Aida Abdildaeva, explained that the situation arose due to the delay in the start of the exam. “This incident occurred on January 26, and the video spread the next day. Exams at our college are conducted through an electronic system, but that day there was a power outage that disrupted internet service. The teachers went to lunch, and the exam, which was supposed to start at 1:00 PM, began an hour later, and the students were not notified about this. This led to a conflict initiated by the student, who claimed that she had work to do. At that moment, other students were recording the events on video,” she added.
