An avalanche has occurred on the Bishkek-Osh highway

Today at 12:20, an avalanche occurred on the Bishkek-Osh highway, reaching 50 meters in length and up to 2 meters in height. This was reported by the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the agency's information, vehicle traffic in this area has been temporarily suspended.

At the moment, equipment from DEP No. 23 has been engaged for road clearing operations. Additional information will be provided later.
