In the Kadamjay district, in the city of Aydarken, a tragedy occurred in which a 70-year-old man killed his brother. Information about this incident was received from the Internal Affairs Department of the Batken region.
According to law enforcement agencies, a 60-year-old woman called the duty station to report the death of her husband, which occurred as a result of violent actions.
Based on the information received, a criminal case was initiated under Article 122 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the investigation, on January 22 at around 14:20, a quarrel broke out between the two brothers related to a past conflict. During this quarrel, the 70-year-old M.M. stabbed his brother in the chest with a kitchen knife, and he died at the scene from the injuries sustained.
The suspect was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. Further investigation is ongoing.
