“Fire is a natural disaster. To prevent fires, it is important for every citizen to observe and adhere to safety rules. According to statistical data, 526 fires were registered in the Batken region last year, which is 39% more than in 2024. This figure primarily indicates the careless and negligent attitude of citizens towards fire, as well as the burning of waste during cleaning operations. It also serves as a reminder of the need to follow fire safety rules,” he said.
Additionally, T. Talipov shared recommendations for fire safety:
“When cleaning the area and burning waste, do so away from residential houses, barns, places for storing feed and firewood, or in specially designated areas. Do not leave the fire unattended until it is completely extinguished;
After burning waste, be sure to pour water over the remnants or cover them with soil and do not leave until the fire is completely out;
When repairing agricultural machinery, clean the engines of oil leaks and do not allow damage to the insulation of electrical wires;
If you notice signs of a short circuit in your vehicle, immediately consult an auto electrician.
In case of a fire, urgently call the following phone numbers: 112 or 101.”
