According to the information, police officers stopped an attempt to give a bribe. It has been established that a citizen with the initials S.I. tried to evade criminal liability in a case that is currently under review by offering a bribe to an investigator in order to prevent the initiation of a criminal case.
In connection with this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 345 (Bribery) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational activities conducted by the Internal Investigations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, S.I., born in 1973, was detained in his office in the Investigative Department of the Bazar-Korgon Department of Internal Affairs while he was handing over 100,000 soms as a bribe.
After the detention, the man was interrogated as a suspect and placed in a temporary detention facility.
