
An incident occurred in the Sokuluk district involving a shepherd who sold cattle entrusted to him for grazing.
According to information from the Main Internal Affairs Department of the Chui region, on January 3, 2026, I.M., a woman born in 1974, approached the Sokuluk police department with a request to take action against B.M., who had previously worked for her as a cattleman.
The applicant claims that in 2010, B.M. took 10 heads of cattle for grazing and has since kept them in a private barn located in the village of Töch-Bulak. In subsequent years, he also grazed more than 60 heads, including cows and horses. Currently, B.M. is not returning the animals and, according to available information, has sold them to third parties.
The fact of the incident has been recorded, and a criminal case has been initiated against B.M. under Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Police officers detained B.M., born in 1959, on suspicion of committing this crime and placed him in a temporary detention facility in accordance with the provisions of Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing to clarify all the circumstances of the case and assess the material damage caused.
