According to information provided by the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Jalal-Abad region, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the criminal investigation department received data that a certain citizen, known by the name "Almaz," was keeping firearms in his home without the proper permits.
This information was recorded by the investigative department of the Internal Affairs Department in accordance with Article 267 ("Illegal circulation of weapons and ammunition") of the Criminal Code, and a criminal case was initiated on this matter.
During the investigation, a suspect was identified — A.Z., born in 1974, residing in Manas. During a sanctioned search at his residence, the investigative authorities discovered:
- one firearm;
- 72 rounds of 12 caliber ammunition;
- 41 rounds for a TOZ-8 weapon;
- one pistol resembling a gas-traumatic weapon.
Ballistic examinations have been appointed for the seized items. The suspect was detained and placed in custody for 48 hours. Currently, investigative actions are ongoing.
