At a parliamentary meeting, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Eldar Sulaymanov voiced serious issues concerning the school named after Madamin Nazarov and the maternity hospital located in the village of Kyzyl-Kyshtak, which is part of the city of Osh.
According to Sulaymanov, the condition of the school building leaves much to be desired—it is in an emergency state and unsuitable for the educational process. As a result, students are currently forced to hold classes in the premises of the FAP (Field Ambulance Post) and the mosque, which absolutely does not meet the minimum safety and quality standards for education.
The deputy noted that the project for a new school is already prepared and has passed all necessary examinations. However, the main problem is that this facility is not included in the construction plan for the current year. Despite the fact that many facilities are included in the republican capital construction plan, the situation with the school requires immediate resolution, as children continue to study in extremely unsatisfactory conditions, he emphasized.
Additionally, Sulaymanov drew attention to the situation with the maternity hospital in Kyzyl-Kyshtak. Although the institution is in good technical condition, it has not been operational for about a year due to a lack of funding. The village has a population of about 60,000 people, and the closure of the maternity hospital creates significant difficulties for residents, the deputy added.
To restore the operation of the maternity hospital, funding is required for 11-12 staff positions, as well as financing to provide the hospital with necessary equipment and supplies. Sulaymanov emphasized that the opening of the maternity hospital would significantly simplify women's access to medical services, freeing them from the need to travel to other districts of the city.
