It is expected that they will serve part of their sentence in prison and the remainder in a strict regime colony, as reported by "RIA Novosti".
The judge, while announcing the verdict, stated: "Paskary is sentenced to 24 years of imprisonment, with the first five years to be served in prison, and the remaining time in a strict regime colony, along with a fine of 700,000 rubles; Golovchenko is sentenced to 26 years of imprisonment, of which the first six years will be in prison conditions, with a fine of 1.4 million rubles" (quote from TASS).
Previously, another participant in this case, Ukrainian citizen Rostislav Zhuravlev, received a sentence of 16 years of imprisonment.
The incident occurred on April 12, 2024, when Prozorov's Toyota Land Cruiser SUV exploded in the courtyard of his home on Korovinskoye Highway in Moscow. The explosive device detonated at the moment Prozorov got into the car and started the engine, resulting in injuries.
Prozorov, who worked in the SBU from 1999 to 2018, began interacting with Russian special services in 2014.
