In Bishkek, a group attacking passersby and stealing phones was detained

Three men suspected of committing a series of robberies using physical force have been detained in Bishkek, reports the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District.
During operational activities, S.E. (born in 2006), S.B. (born in 2008), and Ch.A. (born in 2010) were arrested. In the course of the investigation, the police seized four mobile phones that were obtained illegally and are now considered material evidence.
It has been established that the detainees were traveling in a car with fake state license plates. They tracked individuals walking alone and, under the pretext of asking to make a call, used force to openly take their mobile phones.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 206 (Robbery) of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
The investigation was initiated by a citizen, M.S., who reported that on January 12 at around 02:00 on M. Gorky Street, he was robbed using force, and his mobile phone, an iPhone 13 Pro Max worth 60,000 soms, was stolen.
Currently, law enforcement agencies are checking the detainees for involvement in other similar crimes. The police urge citizens who have fallen victim to the actions of these individuals or have information to contact them at the numbers 0 998 81 04 06 and 102.
The court has decided to place the detainees in custody for a period of two months.
