In Bishkek, a police officer and an accomplice were detained for extortion » Gazeta.kg

According to the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), the criminals were caught red-handed while receiving 350,000 soms from a citizen named Ch.M. The extortion was carried out under the pretext of accusing him of a crime allegedly related to the rape of T.A.

To obtain the required amount, T.A. teamed up with police officer A.E.B., who used his official position to exert pressure on Ch.M. and demanded money in exchange for a favorable resolution of the case.

According to the decision of the Lenin District Court of Bishkek, T.A. and A.E.B. have been placed in the GKNB detention center.
