

In Tokmok, a kidnapping of a 17-year-old girl was reported on January 18, 2026, at the city police department. A woman named S.A., born in 1986, filed a statement indicating that her daughter I.T., born in 2008, was kidnapped on January 17, 2026, around 9:00 PM near the "Atake" store. According to her, two unfamiliar men, E. and A., forcibly put the girl into a white Hyundai Grandeur.
According to the applicant's account, the kidnappers not only held the girl against her will but also inflicted bodily harm on her, including stab and cut wounds, strangled her, and attempted to take her life. Eventually, the minor was left near the "Zhannat" hotel in the village of Chuy, located in the Chuy region.
Based on these events, a criminal case was initiated under Article 165 (Kidnapping) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Law enforcement officers managed to identify and detain the suspects — A.E., born in 1993, and A.A., born in 1994. These individuals were detained in accordance with the procedure established by Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility.
All necessary forensic examinations have been appointed within the framework of the criminal case, and the investigation is ongoing.
