In the districts of Bishkek, there will be no water on January 20.
On January 20, the supply of drinking water will be temporarily suspended in some areas of the capital from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This will affect residential buildings, schools, kindergartens, medical institutions, and other social facilities. The relevant message was published by the press service of the mayor's office.
Areas where water supply will be interrupted:
- microdistricts No. 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10;
- Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue, Abdrahmanov Street, Bakayev Street, Masaliev Avenue, Toktonaliev Street, Atatürk Park, Akhunbaev Street, Alamedin River, YUBCHK, Baytik Baatyr Street, Ala-Archa River, Semetei Street.
The reason for the disconnection is related to the installation of valves on pipelines with diameters of 600 and 400 millimeters, as well as the relocation of a 600-millimeter water pipeline from the territory at 1/1 Rysmendiev Street.
The municipal enterprise "Bishkekvodokanal" strongly recommends that residents and organizations stock up on drinking water in advance.
