The accident happened around 5:00 AM on the Talas—Taraz—Suusamyr highway. A "Toyota Surf" was parked on the side of the road when it was struck by a "Subaru Forester," which did not see the stationary vehicle due to thick fog.

According to information provided by eyewitnesses, first aid was administered to the drivers at the scene, but no one required hospitalization.
