Suspects in Cattle Rustling Detained

According to information published on January 6 by the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui Region, the police have detained suspects in livestock theft.

The incident occurred on December 27 at 21:29, when a resident of the village of Manas, located in the Sokuluk district, reported that intruders had entered his yard and stolen 21 sheep from the barn.

This theft was registered under Article 205-1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to livestock theft.

As a result of operational actions by law enforcement, three individuals were detained: 20-year-old A.I. (born in 2003), 24-year-old M.A. (born in 1999), and 24-year-old I.Sh. (also born in 1999). All of them have been placed in a temporary detention facility.

According to the preliminary version of the investigation, the detainees sold half of the stolen animals in Kant and the remaining part at the livestock market in Tokmok. Their connection to other similar crimes is currently being established.
