Illegal Gas Trade Locations Identified in Bishkek
A joint raid organized by the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic, with the participation of the Municipal Inspection of Bishkek, the State Fire Supervision under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Main Department of Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic took place in Bishkek.
During the raid, five locations of illegal trade in explosive gases were identified, where cars and household gas cylinders were filled in violation of safety standards, as reported by the Ministry of Natural Resources.
As a result of the inspection:
— acts were drawn up for the identified violations;
— fines were imposed;
— one of the locations was completely dismantled.
The Ministry reminds that the installation of mobile gas filling stations in populated areas is strictly prohibited, as it poses a threat to the life and health of citizens.
Similar raids will be conducted regularly. This work is carried out in accordance with the Resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 19 dated January 20, 2021, concerning industrial safety regulations.
