In Osh, 34 facilities under the jurisdiction of the city hall were identified, lacking the necessary permit documentation.
Currently, 34 facilities managed by the local mayor's office have been identified in the city of Osh, for which the necessary permitting documentation is absent. It has been established that the construction of these facilities was carried out simultaneously with the design process, and the documentation for all of them was not properly formalized.
The Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of Kyrgyzstan, Nurdin Oruntaev, along with the Mayor of Osh, Janarbek Akaev, held a meeting with representatives of the construction sector.
During the meeting, which took place in an open dialogue format, current issues and appeals from builders were discussed. Participants noted that after the change of leadership in the mayor's office, a number of problems in construction became more noticeable. In particular, businessmen reported non-payments on oral agreements reached earlier.
By the directive of President Sadyr Japarov, the Ministry of Construction has taken control of the situation and is conducting a thorough review of issues related to the activities of construction companies, as reported by the agency.
“All construction projects in Osh will be completed, and those under the control of the mayor's office will be transferred to the direct management of the Ministry of Construction. By special instruction from the president, issues of financing construction companies will be considered using state budget funds,” said Nurdin Oruntaev.
In conclusion of the meeting, the minister emphasized that necessary measures will be taken based on inspections conducted by the relevant state structures.
