At the meetings held by Akunbekov, measures to improve the epizootic situation in the country are discussed.
In particular, the minister and representatives of "Altyn Tamyr" discussed the construction of a new plant that will produce vaccines for animal protection. This project will not only enhance veterinary safety but also improve the quality of livestock products, as reported by the Ministry of Agriculture.
It should be noted that "Altyn Tamyr" is the only producer of biopreparations in Kyrgyzstan, offering about 20 different products that meet the needs of local livestock and are exported to neighboring countries such as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the minister outlined several key tasks:
- Increase the requirements for the volume and quality of vaccines produced;
- Ensure the rapid construction of the plant and its launch;
- Develop an effective vaccine procurement program;
- Consider the project as a strategically important facility for the country's economy.
According to preliminary estimates, the implementation of the project will require about 10 million US dollars. The state will provide comprehensive support, including preferential lending mechanisms and the creation of comfortable conditions for investors.
Akunbekov noted that this initiative will significantly improve control over the epizootic situation, help in the prevention of animal diseases, and contribute to the development of local production.
As a result of the implementation of this project, Kyrgyzstan will be able not only to provide its market with high-quality veterinary vaccines but also to expand its export opportunities in the future.
