Improvement of Infrastructure within the "Dordoy" Market: The Mayor of Bishkek Met with Askar Salymbekov
In Bishkek, Mayor Aibek Junushaliev held a meeting with Askar Salymbekov, who is the president of the "Dordoy" Association.
The discussion focused on improving the infrastructure at the "Dordoy" market. The city leader noted that the mayor's office has already completed all necessary work and emphasized the importance of supporting businesses. However, he stressed that development should occur in an organized manner, creating comfortable conditions for both sellers and residents of the capital.
Among the plans for improving the market's infrastructure are the construction of multi-level parking lots, landscaping the area, including fencing the lake and organizing a walking zone.
Additionally, Junushaliev instructed to return the parking zones to the municipality's balance and implement a payment system through QR codes.
Askar Salymbekov reported that road construction work in the market area will begin on April 1, 2026.
As a result of the meeting, the mayor tasked the Sverdlovsk district administration, the Municipal Property Management, and the Land Use Control Department to complete all preparatory work, including the dismantling of obstructive structures.
