Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov, the chairman of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) of Kyrgyzstan, held a meeting with businessmen.
He emphasized that the successful development of the state’s economy is inextricably linked to the effective operation of businesses, the creation of new jobs, and the formation of the tax base. According to him, this event creates an opportunity for open dialogue to hear the opinions of entrepreneurs and discuss existing challenges.
“Honest business should operate without restrictions and with confidence. The main task of law enforcement agencies is not to create obstacles but to protect the economy. We do not intend to interfere in your activities without grounds. If you encounter any pressure, we are ready to support you. The main thing is openness and honesty in your work,” noted SCNS Chairman J. Shabdanbekov.
Representatives of the business community also shared their proposals and opinions, expressing gratitude to the SCNS leadership for the opportunity for open discussion. They emphasized the importance of transparency in the inspection process and suggested more active communication regarding changes in legislation.
In response, Shabdanbekov assured that all identified cases of illegal actions by officials and administrative barriers to entrepreneurs would be addressed strictly in accordance with the law. He also warned that any business representatives engaged in illegal activities or involved in criminal schemes would be held accountable under current legislation.
In conclusion of the meeting, the SCNS chairman noted that mutual respect and partnership between the state and business are necessary to ensure sustainable economic development and the well-being of the country. He urged entrepreneurs to act in good faith.
