Based on preliminary results of the republican referendum, announced by exit polls, the majority of Kazakhstanis supported the new Constitution, reports Orda.kz.

The Eurasian Integration Institute reports that 86.7% of those who voted supported the proposed changes to the Constitution. At the same time, an exit poll conducted by the Institute of Comprehensive Social Research "Sociс-A" showed a support level of 87.4%.

Data from the AMANAT party's Institute of Public Policy also indicates that 88.6% of survey participants expressed support for the new Constitution. Voter turnout in the referendum was 72.1% according to this exit poll.
An exit poll (from the English "exit poll") is a method of sociological survey conducted among voters as they leave polling stations. The margin of error for such polls usually ranges from 1.5% to 3%.

The Central Referendum Commission reported a turnout of 73.24%, corresponding to the participation of 9,126,850 citizens of Kazakhstan.

The General Prosecutor's Office provided information about violations recorded on the day of the referendum on constitutional reform, reports Tengrinews.kz correspondent.

According to the supervisory authority, the referendum process is proceeding without serious incidents.

“In the Karaganda region, one citizen conducted an illegal public opinion survey and campaigning through an online platform. He admitted his guilt and deleted the material. Administrative fines were imposed on him,” noted Bekzhan Karamanov, head of the Public Interests Protection Service of the General Prosecutor's Office.

Additionally, the prosecutor's office is monitoring similar cases, including the publication of ballot photographs on social media.

“If the presence of offenses in these actions is confirmed, appropriate measures will be taken. So far, no complaints related to the referendum have been received by the prosecutor's office or the courts. The General Prosecutor's Office and the prosecutors of all regions continue to monitor the legality of the referendum process,” added Karamanov.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the situation in the country remains stable on the day of the referendum. Continuous monitoring of the situation is being conducted, including the use of surveillance cameras. Currently, no serious violations of public order have been registered, and the police continue to maintain order until the voting is completed.
