President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov commented on the current situation in the Middle East.
He expressed deep concern about the escalating tensions in the region, noting its detrimental impact on the Arab countries, which are brothers to Kyrgyzstan.
The President emphasized that it is particularly sad that the conflict is unfolding during the holy month of Orozo, which symbolizes spiritual purification, charity, forgiveness, and respect for one another.
Sadyr Japarov noted that the republic shares the sorrow of loss and the irreparable pain of the peoples of the Middle East in light of the numerous casualties among the civilian population. He condemned any actions that have led to such severe consequences.
In accordance with the UN Charter and international norms, Kyrgyzstan advocates for the unification of efforts from the entire global community aimed at peacefully resolving the conflict.
He called on all parties to exercise restraint and to immediately cease hostilities, as well as to take all necessary measures to resume constructive dialogue to resolve the situation exclusively through peaceful means,” he added.
