In his recent speech at the Jogorku Kenesh, President Sadyr Japarov announced that while searching for candidates for the position of Minister of Emergency Situations, he proposed ten individuals, nine of whom turned out to be involved in corrupt schemes.
He expressed surprise that there are practically no honest professionals left in the country.
“We have committed to the people to work honestly and eradicate corruption. These commitments must be fulfilled. Over the next 10-15 years, we must enter the ranks of the thirty most economically developed countries in the world. We see that the situation in the world is unstable, so we need to unite our efforts for the good of the people and the state, not for personal interests,” the president emphasized.
