From March 20, 2026, the Muslim holiday of Orozo Ait will be celebrated in Kyrgyzstan, making this day a non-working day in accordance with the Labor Code of the country.

In anticipation of this event, the duration of the working day on March 19 will be reduced by one hour.

Additionally, the Ministry informs that the state holiday of Nooruz, which is celebrated on March 21, 2026, falls on a Saturday. In this case, according to the norms of the Labor Code, the transfer of the day off is not provided.

It is important to note that in organizations where work cannot be suspended due to production conditions, employees may be required to work on holidays, in accordance with labor legislation rules.

The Ministry of Labor strongly recommends that employers adhere to labor legislation norms when establishing working hours for employees on weekends and holidays.
