In Kyrgyzstan, the implementation of a taxpayer rating system is planned, as reported by Kubanychbek Isabekov, Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service, during an interview on "Birinchi Radio".
According to him, a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers is currently being developed, which will regulate this process.
The new system will cover both small and large businesses. The rating will be formed based on various criteria, such as timely tax payments, absence of violations, accurate reporting, and job creation.
The Deputy Chairman of the STS explained that companies that diligently fulfill their tax obligations and maintain stable business activity can expect a high rating. One of the criteria may also be the tax burden, which should not be lower than the average level in the relevant industry.
In addition, for companies with high ratings, the government may offer additional support measures, including a reduction in the number of inspections, access to preferential lending, and the launch of specialized support programs.
"If a company is in good standing with its reporting and has no violations, then inspections can be avoided, and access to preferential loans can be provided, or special support programs can be developed," he clarified.
Kubanychbek Isabekov also noted that the system could be expanded to a more general entrepreneurial rating that would take into account not only tax discipline but also the overall reputation of companies in the market.
In the long term, it is planned to consider elements of corporate social responsibility, such as charitable activities and assistance to socially vulnerable groups of the population.
