Ulanbek Omuraliyev Sulaymanovich has been appointed the artistic director of the State Youth Theater "Uchur" starting from March 10 of this year. As reported by the Ministry of Culture, an employment contract has been signed with him, which includes a three-month probation period.
Ulanbek Omuraliyev is a name familiar to many theater and cinema enthusiasts. He was born on March 28, 1980, in Bishkek and is a graduate of the M. S. Shchepkin Higher Theater School in Moscow. He also studied at the directing faculty of GITIS.
Omuraliyev has over 25 years of experience in the theater and film industry. Throughout his career, he has worked in such renowned theaters as:
- Bishkek City Dramatic Theater named after A. Umuraliyev.
- State Youth Theater "Uchur".
- Kyrgyz State Theater for Young Spectators named after B. Kydykeeva.
- State National Russian Drama Theater named after Ch. Aitmatov.
In addition to his acting career, Ulanbek is actively involved in education. He has taught acting and stage art at the Kyrgyz State University of Culture and Arts named after B. Beishenaliev, as well as at the theater school of the Kyrgyz National Academic Drama Theater named after T. Abdumomunov.
He has numerous roles in theatrical productions and films, as well as successes as a director. Omuraliyev has participated in various international and republican theater festivals. For his achievements in the field of culture, he has been awarded the titles of "Excellence in Culture of the KR" and "Excellence in Cinematography of the KR," and he has also been a two-time laureate of the national theater award "Ergüü."
