Meta continues to actively delete posts by Kazakh journalists and public activists concerning the Constitution and the upcoming referendum. In recent hours, hundreds of publications have been removed from various pages, with all complaints filed on behalf of "Giorgio Armani," reports Exclusive.kz.

Journalist Murat Daniyar, who conducts political research under the nickname JURTTYŃ BALASY, reported a wave of complaints against his Instagram account.

“My Instagram is under attack. Complaints are coming in large numbers, and posts are being deleted. Usually, an account gets blocked after 3-4 complaints, but that hasn’t happened yet. The likelihood is high. They have already removed 15 of my posts. The complaints are filed by some Giorgio Armani,” he noted.

He emphasized that all 15 publications disappeared in just 10 minutes. The removal is allegedly due to complaints about intellectual property violations. To restore content, users are advised to contact the rights holder via email, while it is impossible to appeal the removal through Meta.

“The deletions continue. In fact, it is very easy to manipulate Meta's algorithms,” the journalist added.

Update. Murat Daniyar reported that as a result of complaints from Giorgio Armani, almost all his publications from 2026 were deleted from his Instagram.

Lawyer Murat Adam also reported similar cases of publication deletions, having lost his license in January due to posts on social media. He noted that his publications began to disappear after complaints of alleged copyright violations from the same Giorgio Armani.

“Today, I received notifications about the removal of several of my publications based on complaints for copyright infringement. The complaint was filed by Giorgio Armani. In the last two days, all my old and outdated posts about former editor-in-chief Gulnara Bazhkenova have been deleted,” he stated.

According to the lawyer, the complaints also concerned materials related to his speech at the OSCE conference, where issues of pressure on independent media in Kazakhstan were discussed.

The exact number of deleted publications was not specified by Murat Adam.

Recall that earlier, the editorial office of Respublika.kz.media reported on the mass deletion of publications due to complaints from Giorgio Armani without the possibility of appeal.

On the evening of March 8, the publication added that the content removal process continues to expand. If previously there were 57 posts on Facebook, now, according to the editorial office, about 100 publications have already been deleted.

It is noted that almost all posts from the publication for the period from January to March have disappeared from Instagram. Additionally, all publications posted after February 22 were also deleted from the personal page of the publication's editor-in-chief Irina Petrushova.

“They even deleted that post I wrote just recently,” Petrushova reported.

Update 2. Respublika.kz.media informs that their publications on Facebook and Instagram are now being deleted immediately after posting.
Update 3. Journalist Irina Petrushova posted the following message on her personal page:

“What if I post a cat here, will it be deleted too?”.

Soon, Meta deleted this post, again citing copyright infringement by “Giorgio Armani,” as reported by the publication.
