Kyrgyzstan and France Discussed the Opening of Direct Air Services and the Establishment of Cultural Centers

The meeting between the Ambassador of France in Kyrgyzstan, Nicolas Fay, and the Chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, Marlen Mamataliyev, served as a platform for discussing a number of relevant issues.

According to the Jogorku Kenesh, the main focus was on the opening of direct air communication, as well as the establishment of cultural centers that would promote strengthening ties between the two countries.

The discussion also touched upon the development of political-economic and cultural-humanitarian relations, as well as the necessity of strengthening inter-parliamentary ties.

According to Mamataliyev, Kyrgyzstan is interested in expanding cooperation with France in all areas.

He noted that deepening trade and economic relations is particularly valuable, as there are significant opportunities in this area. He also emphasized the importance of joint efforts in environmental protection, tourism development, and digitalization.

The Chairman highlighted the significance of parliamentary diplomacy for the development of partnership and expressed the need for organizing bilateral meetings and visits of deputies. He also added that the interaction of friendship groups of deputies should become a priority of the time.

Nicolas Fay, for his part, noted the importance of Mamataliyev's proposals and shared his initiatives for expanding cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and France.

The Ambassador emphasized that special attention would be given to strengthening inter-parliamentary ties, as this plays a key role in the effective implementation of the agreements reached.
