Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan, noted that Iranian officials must apologize and explain their actions towards Azerbaijan.
“We defend and have defended our territorial integrity. We are ready to demonstrate our strength against any aggressive actions, and Iran should remember this,” the president added.
Thus, Azerbaijan does not intend to participate in any operations against Iran.
“Our policy excludes the possibility of conducting military operations against neighboring countries,” Aliyev emphasized.
At the same time, he pointed out that Iran committed a terrorist act against Azerbaijan.
