A working meeting with oil traders was held under the auspices of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan. Representatives from organizations such as the Public Association "Association of Oil Traders of Kyrgyzstan," the Public Association "Alliance of Entrepreneurs," as well as companies OsOO "SHNOS," OsOO "Alpha Oil," OsOO "Munai Prom," OsOO "Partner Neft," and JSC "RN-Kyrgyznefteproduct" participated in the event. The main topics of discussion included stocks, prices for petroleum products, and ensuring stable supplies to the domestic market.

According to the Antimonopoly Service, despite ongoing geopolitical tensions, the market for fuel and lubricants in Kyrgyzstan remains under control and is not experiencing short-term negative consequences.

Supplies of petroleum products to Kyrgyzstan are carried out on a duty-free basis under the existing intergovernmental agreement with the Russian Federation, which ensures stability in supply volumes and protects the domestic market from external threats.

The Service continuously monitors the price situation in the fuel and lubricants market.

According to oil traders, the current situation in the market remains stable, supplies are being carried out according to schedule, and stocks of petroleum products meet needs for two months.

In January of this year, a decrease in prices for gasoline and diesel fuel by 3 soms per liter was recorded.

Oil traders note that the price adjustment at this moment is limited. With the arrival of new batches of fuel, retail prices may change. Further movement of prices for fuel and lubricants will depend on wholesale prices set by Russian oil refineries.

As a result of the meeting, the following decisions were made:

— Oil traders are recommended to maintain current prices and avoid sharp increases in prices for fuel and lubricants;

— Necessary stocks of fuel and lubricants should be formed to meet domestic demand and prevent shortages.

Oil traders expressed their readiness to ensure uninterrupted supplies of petroleum products until the end of the year and fulfill obligations under the concluded agreement.
