The advisor to the Supreme Leader of Iran stated that the country can continue its confrontation with the USA and Israel indefinitely.
According to him, Iran no longer trusts the United States and does not intend to engage in further negotiations with them.
The Iranian Foreign Minister Accused Trump of Betrayal
Araghchi, the Iranian Foreign Minister, expressed the opinion that President Trump's actions, including attacks during nuclear negotiations, represent a betrayal of both diplomacy and the American people.
“When complex nuclear negotiations turn into a real estate deal, and lies overshadow reality, there can be no talk of real expectations,” he noted in a message on X.
“As a result, we see that the negotiating table has been ‘bombed’ due to revenge.”
A building used by the UN was shelled in northern Iraq
Authorities in the Kurdish region reported that they do not know whether it was a drone or missile strike, however, the Iranian side suggests that American military personnel may have been in the building.
Additionally, positions of Iranian opposition parties in the Kurdistan region have also been attacked using Iranian drones.
Iran accuses the USA and the Israeli Mossad of supporting and arming opposition groups in northern Iraq.
Meanwhile, the pro-Iranian group "Islamic Resistance," consisting of several armed formations in Iraq, claimed responsibility for the shelling of American facilities.
One of the latest targets was the "Victory" base located near Baghdad, which serves as an important center for US logistical and diplomatic support. A drone was shot down.
This occurred after another drone, sent by the Islamic Resistance, was intercepted over the airport.
According to sources in security services, nine rockets and a launch system were seized in the Abu Ghraib area.

The National News Agency of Lebanon reports that as a result of Israeli attacks today, at least 12 people have died.

The Prime Minister of Spain condemned wars, warning of disasters
Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez, who sharply criticizes the actions of the USA and Israel against Iran, stated that his government opposes war and that the Spanish people do not agree with these “disasters.”
He emphasized that the invasion of Iraq in 2003 only intensified global instability and that the conflict with Iran will not lead to an improvement in the international order or the lives of people.
Sanchez noted that the current crisis could become “the beginning of great disasters for humanity,” urging governments not to “play Russian roulette with the fate of millions.”
Trump, for his part, threatened to completely halt trade with Spain due to its refusal to provide American military bases for operations against Iran.

- Al Jazeera correspondent Zain Basravi from Doha reports a decrease in Iranian attacks on Gulf countries; however, the conflict continues to cause serious disruptions, including in airspace.

French fighters shot down Iranian drones over the UAE
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot reported that Rafale fighters neutralized Iranian drones that threatened the UAE, where hundreds of French military personnel are stationed.
On Tuesday, he added that France has deployed fighters at the Dhafra base near Abu Dhabi to protect its bases from Iranian attacks.
President Macron announced the deployment of a military aircraft carrier to the Mediterranean Sea in response to the deteriorating situation.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced military operations along the Iran-Iraq border
Reports indicate that the IRGC has deployed its ground forces to combat Kurdish armed formations that have resisted the Iranian army for decades.
This is significant for two reasons, notes Al Jazeera.
In previous conflicts, mainly the IRGC's air forces were involved, conducting missile strikes. Now, with the introduction of ground troops, there are fears that destabilization of the border could lead to internal uprisings from ethnic and religious minorities.
The greatest threat to Iran comes from Kurdish forces, followed by Baluchis and Arabs, and possibly Azerbaijanis. This is a real nightmare for the Iranian leadership.
There are also reports of contacts between American officials and Kurdish leaders, highlighting the need to prevent border destabilization and uprisings.
Shipping companies consider Trump's measures regarding the Strait of Hormuz insufficient — Bloomberg
President Trump assured that the USA will ensure the free passage of energy resources through the Persian Gulf, but the shipping industry considers this only a partial solution.
“Although Trump's statements have led to a decrease in oil prices, we doubt the reliability of the developed mechanism, and rapid implementation may face several difficulties,” analysts from RBC Capital Markets LLC report.
Due to concerns, vessels cannot pass through the Strait of Hormuz, leading to rising freight prices and filling storage at refineries. Major insurers refuse to insure vessels in this area against war risks.
The Iranian Foreign Minister accuses Trump of derailing negotiations
Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian Foreign Minister, reproached the US president for his unrealistic expectations that led to the failure of negotiations on the nuclear program.
“When complex nuclear negotiations are viewed as a real estate deal, and a big lie clouds reality, unrealistic expectations can never be realized,” Araghchi noted. “The result? The negotiating table has been bombed.”
He added that Trump “betrayed diplomacy and the Americans who elected him.”
The negotiations on the nuclear program took place in Oman and Geneva in February 2026, and Iran characterized them as successful, expressing readiness to continue. However, after the start of the operation by the USA together with Israel against Iran on February 28, Trump stated that “there is nothing more to discuss.”
The record states that Iran can continue to wage war against the USA and Israel “for as long as it wants.” What else happened? This first appeared on K-News.
