Thanks to effective cooperation between the General Prosecutor's Office of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijani authorities, citizen T.D., who is accused of fraud in a particularly large amount, was extradited from Baku after all necessary procedures were completed. He was met in Bishkek by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan and was placed in a detention center for further investigation.
According to the information from the General Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, T.D. fraudulently obtained more than 46 million soms from two victims, causing them significant material damage, after which he left the country.
The supervisory authority's message emphasizes that the General Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic is actively working to improve international cooperation in the field of criminal law, as well as to ensure the inevitability of criminal responsibility.
