President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov announced the start of the evacuation of citizens who found themselves in Middle Eastern countries and are unable to return home. In light of the imposed ban on air travel to the United Arab Emirates, an agreement has been reached with Oman to conduct two charter flights to evacuate 300 people.
Japarov noted that as soon as permission is obtained to operate flights from the UAE, all remaining citizens will be able to return home within one day. An important aspect of the evacuation is that women and children will be evacuated first through the territory of Oman.
The head of state urged citizens to remain calm and exercise restraint in the current situation.
