President of the United States Donald Trump expressed confidence that Americans are ready to wage wars "forever," as the country has a "virtually unlimited" supply of ammunition.
He published these words on the social network Truth Social.
“The stockpiles of U.S. medium and large caliber ammunition have never been so high and of such quality. Today I was informed that we possess virtually inexhaustible resources of this weapon. We can wage wars endlessly and quite successfully, based solely on these stockpiles (which surpass the best weapons of other countries!),” Trump noted.
However, he added that even this level of stockpiles "does not meet desired indicators."
The fourth day of the conflict between the U.S. and Israel with Iran, latest news:
- Israel has begun a new series of "large-scale airstrikes" on alleged "military targets" in Tehran and Beirut.
- According to the Saudi Ministry of Defense, the U.S. embassy in Riyadh was attacked by two drones, resulting in a "small" fire.
- Iranian state media report the destruction of a command and control building at the U.S. base in Bahrain.
- An Iranian official warned of a possible "arson" of any ships attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz—a key artery for global oil supplies.
- U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated the day before that "the most powerful strikes against Iran from the American military are yet to come." This was said after Donald Trump characterized Saturday's attacks as "the last and best chance" to eliminate "threats" from Iran.
- Since the beginning of the conflict, six American servicemen have died. Yesterday in Kuwait, three American fighter jets were shot down as a result of an "obvious friendly fire incident," but the crews managed to survive.
- British Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated yesterday in Parliament that he does not believe in the possibility of regime change from the air. Nevertheless, he allowed the U.S. to use British bases for "defensive" strikes on Iranian missile installations.
