On March 1, the Mayor's Cup in swimming took place in Osh, according to information provided by the local municipality.
The aim of the competition was to select 25 swimmers for upcoming international tournaments.
The event was attended by the mayor of the city, Janarbek Akayev, the chairman of the Osh city council, Bolot Bayetov, as well as representatives of relevant institutions and the athletes themselves.
As a result of the tournament, the best swimmers were selected to form the swimming team of Osh city and will begin preparations for participation in national and international competitions.
The total number of applications for participation in the tournament was 158. The competitions were held in the pool of the "Bulak" health center. The winners of the tournament were awarded diplomas, medals, and valuable prizes.
