- At the beginning of 2026, products worth 69 billion 831.1 million soms were produced in Kyrgyzstan, according to statistical data.

Comparing with January 2025, when the volume was 52,192.8 million soms, an increase in the industry can be noted: the physical volume index rose to 112.7%.

The largest share in the total volume of industrial production was contributed by the Chui region, where products worth 27,569.7 million soms were produced in January, and the physical volume index was 128.3%. Significant figures were also demonstrated by the Issyk-Kul region — 15,856.9 million soms (PVI 115.4%) and Bishkek — 12,744.4 million soms (PVI 115.6%). These regions are the main centers of industrial output in the country.

In terms of dynamics, the highest growth rates were observed in the Jalal-Abad region, where the physical volume index was 142.8%, and production volume reached 4,461.2 million soms. The Batken region also showed significant growth with a PVI of 139.2% and a volume of 760.5 million soms. In the Osh region, the index was 136.1%, and production volume increased to 1,467.1 million soms. The Naryn region also showed growth to 884.6 million soms with an index of 133.2%.

However, not all regions finished the month with positive results. The Talas region showed a decline compared to January of last year, with a physical volume index of 88.1%, despite a production volume of 4,853.4 million soms. Negative dynamics were also recorded in the city of Osh, where the index was 96.1%, and the output volume was 1,233.3 million soms.

Thus, the overall growth of the industry in January 2026 was driven both by large production areas (primarily the Chui and Issyk-Kul regions and Bishkek) and by regions with high growth rates (Jalal-Abad, Batken, and Osh regions).
