Culture, Sports, and Tourism. The Budget and Revenues in 2025 Increased Significantly – Deputy Prime Minister
Edil Baisalov, Deputy Prime Minister, presented the results of work in the fields of culture, sports, tourism, and youth policy at a republican meeting held at "Yntymak Ordo".
He noted that in 2024, 851 million soms were allocated to improve the material and technical base of cultural institutions. At the same time, revenues from paid services of theaters and entertainment events reached a record 155 million soms.
Regarding youth policy, funding increased from 4 million soms in 2021 to 50 million in 2025. The budget for sports also showed impressive growth: from approximately 953 million soms in 2021, it rose to 2.6 billion soms in 2025, which is more than a 2.6-fold increase.
In the tourism sector, the gross added value amounted to 74.4 billion soms, indicating a 29% growth compared to the previous year.
It is worth noting that the meeting was attended by the President of the country, Sadyr Japarov, as well as members of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of state agencies, presidential representatives in the regions, mayors of Bishkek and Osh, and district akims.
This event gathered a wide range of participants, highlighting the importance of the discussed topics and the achieved results.
