Work Honestly and Be Closer to the People – The President's Address to Officials
At the republican meeting in "Yntymak Ordo," President Sadyr Japarov expressed the need to stop unwarranted inspections by law enforcement agencies concerning akims, mayors, and entrepreneurs. He noted: "Stop interfering in their work, demanding unnecessary reports, and summoning them to offices without grounds."
Additionally, the president urged local leaders to work honestly and fairly, avoid corruption, and not steal. He emphasized the importance of direct communication with citizens: "Do not remain closed in offices, meet with people, and help solve their problems. Be closer to the people. If you decide to abuse the state budget, thinking that no one will catch you, keep in mind – there will be no forgiveness for corruption," he warned.
It is worth noting that the meeting in "Yntymak Ordo" was held to summarize the results of 2025 and gathered participants, including members of the cabinet of ministers, heads of state structures, presidential representatives in the regions, as well as the mayors of Bishkek and Osh, and district akims.
