President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov announced that the volume of agricultural production in the country has reached 2 trillion soms over the past five years. This statement was made at a republican meeting held at "Yntymak Ordo".
“As is known, 60% of our population lives in rural areas. The development of the agricultural sector is an important aspect of caring for the majority of citizens,” he noted.
Japarov also emphasized that support for the rural population has remained a top priority in recent years, as the development of rural areas directly affects the improvement of family welfare and regional development.
He highlighted that achievements in the agricultural sector over the five-year period have had a significant impact: the volume of agricultural production has nearly reached 2 trillion soms. “This has led to the creation of new jobs, an increase in family incomes in villages, and the strengthening of economic independence for both regions and the entire country,” the president added.
It is worth noting that the republican meeting on the results of 2025 took place at "Yntymak Ordo" with the participation of the head of state Sadyr Japarov.
Government members, heads of various state institutions, authorized representatives of the president in the regions, mayors of Bishkek and Osh, as well as district akims, also attended the event.
