President Sadyr Japarov, at a republican meeting taking place in "Yntymak Ordo," announced that in the implementation of state mortgages, funds are allocated equally for the northern and southern regions. He noted that 50% of the total funding goes to the south, and 50% to the north of the country.
According to the president, last year, 400 million US dollars were allocated, which were evenly distributed between the regions: 200 million for each. This year, it is planned to maintain the same amount and a similar distribution order. This decision is based on the nearly equal population size in both parts of the country, with a difference of about 1%. The president emphasized that both regions should develop in a balanced manner. He also noted that the principle of equality will be applied not only in mortgage policy but also in the overall distribution of budget funds. For example, last year, more roads were built in the south than in the north, as well as schools and other social facilities.
It is worth noting that a republican meeting is currently taking place in "Yntymak Ordo," aimed at summarizing the results of 2025 with the participation of President Sadyr Japarov.
Members of the cabinet of ministers, heads of state bodies, authorized representatives of the president in the regions, mayors of the cities of Bishkek and Osh, as well as district akims, are present at the event.
