"We have rebuilt the aviation infrastructure, - the president on Kyrgyzstan's readiness to exit the EU 'blacklist'"
According to the head of state, as part of the modernization, runways have been updated, terminals have been reconstructed, and modern navigation and flight safety standards have been implemented. These changes have significantly improved transportation connectivity between regions and created conditions for increasing international flights.
“We have effectively adapted the country's aviation infrastructure to modern requirements and completely transformed it,” Japarov emphasized.
He also noted that the work carried out brings Kyrgyzstan closer to a key stage in exiting the EU's "black list," in which the country has been for almost 20 years.
The president added that the opening of European airspace will be a significant step for the development of the tourism sector, attracting foreign investments, and strengthening the country's international image.
Additionally, Japarov pointed out that participation in a unified aviation space will provide new economic opportunities for passenger and cargo transportation, which in turn will contribute to the overall development of the country and improve the living standards of citizens.
