In Kyrgyzstan, more than 300 participants of organized criminal groups have been held accountable, and the state has managed to recover damages exceeding 38 billion soms. This was reported by the country's president, Sadyr Japarov.

He noted that "we have not only dismantled criminal groups but also destroyed the mechanisms that have ensured their influence for decades. Restoring the rule of law has become an important task for our government," emphasized Japarov.

The president also highlighted the large-scale digital transformation carried out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Modern video surveillance systems with round-the-clock monitoring have been implemented in various regions of the country, and this process is ongoing.

Thanks to these measures, the crime rate has decreased by 73%, and the number of serious crimes in areas where cameras are installed has reduced by 68%. The president stressed that all these actions are aimed at ensuring safety on the streets and peace for citizens.

It is worth noting that a republican conference is currently taking place in "Yntymak Ordo," dedicated to summarizing the results of 2025, with the participation of President Sadyr Japarov.

This event involves members of the government, heads of state institutions, authorized representatives of the president in the regions, mayors of Bishkek and Osh, as well as district akims.
