President Sadyr Japarov announced that from 2021 to 2025, there has been a significant transformation of the economic model in Kyrgyzstan. This statement was made at a republican meeting in "Yntymak Ordo".
Japarov noted that at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, the country faced serious problems, including weak state institutions and low levels of investment.
“I am convinced that this period will be a time of qualitative economic progress for Kyrgyzstan. In 2020, the country's gross domestic product (GDP) was 8.3 billion dollars, and by 2025 it will increase to 22.6 billion dollars, which means a threefold growth of the economy,” he emphasized.
According to him, tax revenues during this period increased four times, customs revenues increased six times, and non-tax revenues increased nine times.
“The consolidated budget in 2020 was 313 billion soms, and by 2025 it will exceed 1 trillion 100 billion soms, which corresponds to a growth of 3.5 times,” the president added.
Currently, a meeting is taking place in "Yntymak Ordo" to summarize the results for 2025 with the participation of President Sadyr Japarov.
Members of the cabinet of ministers, heads of state bodies, authorized representatives of the president in the regions, mayors of Bishkek and Osh, as well as district akims are also participating in the event.
