Deputy Chyngyz Azhibaev submitted a resignation letter from the position of first vice-speaker at his own request. This information was announced by Speaker Marlen Mamataliyev during a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh.
Mamataliyev noted that he has known Azhibaev since their work in the seventh convocation of parliament and emphasized his professionalism in fulfilling his duties.
“After my election as speaker, I had the opportunity to work with him and saw his professional qualities,” added Mamataliyev.
