Household Final Consumption Expenditures Contributed Significantly to GDP Growth in EAEU Countries
The report contains an analysis of the socio-economic situation in the EEU countries as of 2025. During the reporting period, there was an increase in the aggregate gross domestic product.
“Domestic demand has become a key factor in growth. All its main components – consumer, investment, and government – showed positive dynamics,” the document notes.
The most significant impact on growth came from household final consumption expenditures. This growth was supported by an increase in lending and real incomes of the population, including wage increases,” the EEC adds.
According to forecasts, during the period of 2026–2027, the economies of the EEU countries will grow on average by 2.5% per year.
